Also, the top paint of the diner is a layout from the first season I made a few adjustments to for mood sake. Eventually, As we get to the museum (image not included, I’ll try and post later) the sun has made it’s way out and is shedding light directly onto the building where new information and character development is revealed for the first time. Then as we moved to Mcgucket’s yard, the fog is thick and dense surrounding this character and his environment, but we begin to see some sunlight breaking through the clouds as the next clue has led them to the new location. So I chose to keep the paint for the cold open very dark and foggy, light only shed on specific details, Leaving lots to the imagination. I thought it would interesting if the lighting mirrored that. This episode sheds a lot of light onto previously blurry and unexplained aspects of the show and it’s characters. This episode was another big part of the ongoing narrative reveal for season 2 and I wanted to make sure the paint reflected that. Society of the Blind Eye art drop!
